It is informed that the Final counselling for admission to MBBS course 2018 is scheduled to be held on 28.09.2018 (Friday) at Mini Auditorium, 4^th Floor, JIPMER Academic Center, Puducherry — 6.

The updated vacancy status as on 11.092018 for Final Counseling is as detailed below:-

• All candidates (UR/ OBC/ST/P-UR/ P-OBC/P-SC) who scored more than the 50^th percentile in JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination are eligible to attend the final counselling irrespective of their previous attendance.


• All SC category candidates who scored more than the 40^th percentile in JIPMER MBBS entrance examination are eligible to attend the final counselling irrespective of their previous attendance.


• Those candidates who had already opted MBBS course at Puducherry and Karaikal Campus in JIPMER are not eligible for this final counselling.


• It is essential that the candidate has to appear in person for the counselling. Representation of candidates by any other authorized person will not be permitted for counselling under any circumstances.


• The counselling will be done on the basis of merit rank among the reported candidates in the respective category.


• The registration for counselling closes strictly at 10.30 am.


• The candidate opting for a seat in this final counselling should join the course immediately after the medical examination conducted by JIPMER Hospital.
