Important update regarding DNB SS course Fee: MCC issues notice
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the counselling authority for DNB SS courses from this year, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has answered the various queries submitted by the DNB SS candidates.
In particular, the MCC informed about the questions related to fee payment. It mentioned that the National Board of Examinations (NBE) accredited hospitals/institutes need not to collect 1st year course fee Rs. 125000/-(Rupees One Lakh Twenty-Five Thousand only) from the candidate. The 1st year course fee shall be transferred to the hospital/institute’s bank account by NBE, from the security deposit paid by the candidate during the online registration for NEET SS and DNB SS counselling 2019, after completion of DNB SS counselling process.
This came after the MCC received several mails from the candidates who have been allotted seats in Round-1 of Super Speciality Counselling regarding admissions in DNB courses. In this regard, candidates are requested to go through the FAQs uploaded on MCC website and also note the following points:-
1-The candidates who have been allotted seats in Round-1 of Super Speciality/ DNB counselling, should join the allotted college immediately. To avail the option for upgradation for Round-2, candidates have to give willingness for upgradation during Reporting at the allotted college. If and when they are upgraded, they should join the upgraded college of Round-2.
2- A candidate is allotted a DNB seat in Round-1 or Round-2 and does not join the allotted seat, his/ her Refundable Security Deposit will be f forfeited. As far as any other penalty/ bond of leaving the seat is concerned, candidates are advised to get the information from allotted college/ institution.
3- Please contact NBE authorities for queries regarding Refund of Security Deposit of candidates who get allotted DNB seats. Please also refer to the Notice of NBE as attached below.
The allotment of first-Round NEET SS and DNB SS counseling 2019 admission session has already been published and available at MCC website The allotted candidate shall report to their respective allotted hospital/institute from 22nd August to 26th August 2019.
NBE accredited hospitals/institutes has to complete the joining formalities through MCC website by using the user id and password already provided with.

All the candidates allotted with DNB (SS) seats in the 1st Round allotment has to join the allotted institute to avail the upgradation of allotment during 2nd Round. The candidate, who is willing for up-gradation in Round-2, hospitals/institutes have to submit their willingness through MCC website during the joining process. If the allotment of candidate is upgraded during 2nd Round allotment, hospitals/institutes has to relieve such candidate for joining in the newly allotted seat.
