Health Ministry gives recognition to 27 MD, MS courses from 19 medical colleges
New Delhi: Through a recent notification, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has given recognition to MD/ MS courses of various medical colleges across the country.
With the current notification recognition comes way to 27 courses at 19 medical colleges.
The Ministry has stated that the recognition so granted shall be for a maximum period of 5 years from the date of notification, upon which it shall have to be renewed.
The procedure for 'Renewal' of recognition shall be same as applicable for the award for recognition.
Failure to seek timely renewal of recognition as required shall invariably result in stoppage of admissions to the concerned Postgraduate Courses.
