    Health ministry gives approval to more MD, MS courses: 153 seats to be added
    New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Ministry of health and family Welfare has given approval to more MD/MS courses across the country, thereby adding 153 more PG seats to the pool for this year.

    While issuing the LOP to the medical colleges for these courses, the Ministry has specified that this permission for starting/increase of seats in the above courses and admission of students will be till such time the first batch of students admitted against the above course(s) appears for the first final examination in the subiect. The College authorities may take up the matter for recognition of the qualifications under Section 11(2J of tMC Act at the time of first batch admitted against the course appears for final year examinations

    The said notification was issued to medical colleges on 28/02/2018. Previously similar notification of approval was issued on 26/02/2018. For details of that notification, check out the following link
