35 Medical Colleges denied Super-Specialty Admissions for 2017-18

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has disapproved the applications of 35 medical colleges regarding starting/ increasing the seats of super specialty courses in different courses from the academic year of 2017-18.

The said medical colleges had been given an opportunity of personal hearing by the committee constituted by the Ministry of Health and Family welfare for this purpose under the Section 10(A)(4) of the IMC Act 1956. After considering the recommendations of the Medical Council of India (MCI) and hearing committee, the central government has decided to accept the recommendations of MCI and disapprove the applications of the medical colleges for increasing/ starting super specialty courses for the academic year 2017-18.

Here is the detailed list of medical colleges and super specialty courses which have been debarred by the Medical Council of India (MCI)
