Health education session conducted at JIPMER
Puducherry: Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer) in Collaboration with the Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Puducherry has conducted the Health Education session focusing on "Breast Feeding: Foundation of Life" in line with the celebration of World Breast Feeding Week (WBW)on August.
According to a Jipmer release on Thursday, the programme focused on educating the Anganwadi workers, Self-help group members, Public health nurses and public about the importance of Breastfeeding.
Health education talk on the importance of breastfeeding was given by Dr Nivedita Mondal, Asso Prof, Dept of Neonatology, Jipmer followed by the panel discussion by medical experts.
