Good News: PG Medical/Dental counselling of MCC begins, Check out details
GOOD NEWS for PG Medical Aspirants. After a long wait, Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has finally initiated the process of counseling for PG Medical/Dental Seats this year.
The registration for this year has begun and the MCC has updated all the information for counseling this year.
Counselling has begun the activities related to the Online Counselling allotment process for 50% All India Quota seats of MD/MS/Diploma & MDS for all State Government. Medical/Dental colleges/institutes, except of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, and for the seats in Deemed to be Universities and Central Universities, has commenced at mcc.nic.in .
The allotment will be as per merit of PG NEET 2018.
Under both Streams, the activities up to joining based on round 2 allotment, are the same for AIQ seats and seats of Deemed/Central Universities.
Main Counseling Registration, Exercising of Choices (After Registration) and Locking of Choices can be done up to 5 pm 24th March (Saturday), 2018.
Facility for Choice Filling will be available only from 19 March 2018 to 5 pm on 24 March 2018.
Round 1 seat allotment result will be published by 27th March (Tuesday), 2018.
Those allotted seats against 1st Round allotment, should report at the allotted Medical/Dental College, between 28th March (Wednesday) 2018 and latest by 5 pm on 3rd April (Tuesday) 2018.
Facility for New Registration, Fresh Choice filling and locking for Round-2 will be available from 6th April (Friday) to 5 pm on 8th April (Sunday).
Those allotted seats against 2nd Round allotment, should report at the allotted Medical/Dental College, between 12th April (Thursday) and 22nd April (Sunday).
In case of All India Quota seats, the vacant seats will be transferred to the State Quota after 5 pm on 22nd April 2018.
For Deemed to be/Central Universities, there will be mop up round. Exercising of Choices and Locking of Choice for the Mop-up Round of DGHS can be done from 12th May 2018 (Saturday) to 14th May 2018 (Monday). Result of DGHS Mop-up Round will be published on 17th May 2018 (Thursday).
Those getting allotted in the DGHS Mop-Up Round will have to report at the Allotted Medical/Dental College between 18th May 2018 (Friday) and 26th May 2018 (Saturday).
The last date of Joining of candidates will be 31st May 2018 (Thursday).
