FMGE 2018: NBE announces results for another 50 Withheld Candidates
New Delhi: Through a recent notification, National Board of Examinations, (NBE) has announced the results of another 50 candidates, who appeared for Foreign Medical Graduates Examination 2018, (FMGE 2018) December Session and whose results had been withheld.

Earlier, the examination body had announced the results for 76 candidates, 131 candidates, 297 candidates, 225 candidates, 350 candidates 157 candidates, 774 candidates and 338 candidates who appeared for the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination 2018, December Session.

The Result of Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (Screening Test), December 2018 session was declared on 4th January 2019, 7th January 2019 and 11th January 2019, 15th January, and 17th January 2019 and 22nd January, 29th January, 05th February and 15th February 2019 on NBE/FMGE websites.
Now, these 50 candidates are those whose results were withheld by the examination conducting body for the want of sufficient documents.

The notice states, "Subsequent to submission of deficient documents, the result of 297 candidates whose results were earlier declared as Withheld has been declared."
The entrance examination, Foreign Medical Graduates Examination is mandatory for all Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) in order to be able to practice in India.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE), the conducting body of Foreign Medical Graduates Examination states that the FMGE-Screening Test has been introduced through the Screening Test Regulations 2002. As per the regulations, "An Indian citizen/Overseas citizen of India possessing a primary medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council on or after 15.03.2002 shall have to qualify a screening test conducted by the prescribed authority for that purpose as per the provisions of section 13 of the Act."

Candidates are able to check the PDF document which will reflect the result of Foreign Medical Graduates Examination December 2018 session.
Candidates are advised to download and take a printout of the copy of their Result.
