    Final year MBBS medico killed in tragic Accident

    The police informed that the deceased MBBS medico was the eldest son of an Amritsar based surgeon and gynaecologist couple. He was pursuing his final year of MBBS from a People's Medical College at Karond, Bhopal


    Bhopal: In an unfortunate event, a doctor couple's son, who was pursuing MBBS final year, lost his life in a road accident recently near Bhanpur Bridge in Bhopal, while he was returning to his rented flat after celebrating his birthday party at the boy's hostel of his medical college where he studied.


    According to the media reports, this inopportune event happened on October 2nd 2019. The MBBS student was spotted on the road by some of his friends who were going to his flat to wish him on this birthday. They immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital but it was too late till then. The doctors declared him dead due to excessive bleeding after head injury.


    The police informed that the deceased was the eldest son of an Amritsar based surgeon and gynaecologist couple.

    He was pursuing his final year of MBBS from a People's Medical College at Karond, Bhopal and resided in a rented flat 2 km away from his college, reports Dainik Bhaskar


    His friends told the TOI that the MBBS student used to spend most of his time in the boy's hostel. On the 2nd of October, his friends celebrated his birthday in the medical college campus hostel premises at midnight and left for his flat on his scooter. After he left, some of his friends called him to wish him on his mobile phone but they got no response so they decided to visit his house and wish him personally.


    One of the friend's stated that while they were on their way to the victim's house, they noticed that the traffic was blocked and their friend was lying on the road injured on his head and was bleeding. The medico was rushed to the nearby hospital in a passer's by's car. But, sadly, he succumbed to his injuries and the doctors declared him dead.


    The case has been registered and will be investigated. ASI Rajendra Yadav stated that the police had reached the spot on getting the information about the accident and has registered the case.
