FDGE 2019: NBE declares result for Theory Test
New Delhi: The National Board of Examination (NBE) has declared the theory test results for Foreign Dental Graduate Exam, FDGE 2019 which was conducted on September 1.
The date and venue for viva-voce examination shall be intimated to the qualified candidates individually.
Foreign Dental Graduate Exam (FDGE) screening test is an examination for those students, who have done their undergraduate dental qualification (BDS) from outside India and now wish to practice within India.
FDGE is conducted for Indian nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) and Person of Indian Origin (PIOs) to determine their eligibility for registration with the Dental Council of India (DCI) or any other State Dental Council.
The NBE is responsible for the conduct of Foreign Dental Graduate Screening Test, declaration of the result and handling of the result to DCI. NBE has no role in document verification and eligibility determination; these shall be undertaken by DCI.
Caution Notice
a) Candidates are advised to refer to NBE website www.natboard.edu.in and Information Bulletin for authentic information and periodic updates about the FDG-ST.
b) Candidates are advised not to be allured by claims of any party or person or institute for qualifying dental screening test.
c) NBE does not make any phone calls to any candidate or issues any communication regarding the change of rank/marks obtained in any of the exams conducted by NBE or for any other such thing which is against the provisions of law.
d) Candidates are cautioned not to be misled by any such false and bogus claims regarding change of marks, result or rank.
Out of the 30 candidates who appeared for the FDGE 2019 theory test, only 2 qualified. While 25 failed to qualify the test, 3 were marked absent. Those who qualified are eligible to appear for the viva-voce examination which is going to be conducted soon by the examination authority.
As per Dental Council of India Screening Test (2nd Amendment) Regulations 2018, a candidate has to score 50% in each paper individually to qualify for appearing in the viva-voce examination. To pass the Screening Test, a candidate has to separately score 50% in theory and viva-voce examination.
