    Failing BHMS exams: Medical student blames girlfriend for poor result, demands fees as compensation

    The BHMS student blamed his girlfriend for distracting him that to his poor result and demanded to pay his first-year course fees as compensation. His girlfriend said she had stopped talking to him and made a distance but he kept messaging her on the phone and repeatedly attempted to call her.

    Aurangabad: A toxic relationship has certainly lead to a blame game on a high scale, so much that a student pursuing Bachelors of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) accused his girlfriend of distraction for his poor result in an examination and demanded compensation in return.

    He asked her to compensate him for the fees he paid in the first year.

    According to media report, a first-year BHMS student from Beed district secured admission to the BHMS course last year in the city. He failed in the first year, so he was denied admission to the second year of the four-year course.

    The student alleged that his girlfriend who was his classmate as well, had distracted him from the studies. Despite being a bright student he could not focus on his studies because which he failed, he had alleged in his complaint.

    The student approached the city police and registered a complaint against his girlfriend on charges of extortion, criminal intimidation and cheating. He demanded the compensation of the fees paid in the first year of the course.

    The 21-year old girl, however, had her side of the matter where she mentioned that she had stopped talking to him and made a distance but the boy kept messaging her on the phone and repeatedly attempted to call her.

    Angry that she dumped him, he took to social media, saying things about her father and making vile posts about her family. He threatened that her pictures would be uploaded on social media too, so she was shamed, reports the TOI.
