    No need of capturing Biometric attendance data for professional exams due to Covid 19 outbreak; AIIMS notice

    New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has informed that the capturing of data for biometric attendance will no longer be required for candiidates who are set to appear for UG and PG medical professional examinations May 2020 in view of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

    The notice clearly states, "Competent Authority has decided that due to evolving situation of COVID - 19 outbreak, candidates appearing in Undergraduate / Postgraduate Professional Examinations to be held in May 2020 are not required to visit Examination Section for capturing of data for Biometric Attendance."

    Following is the earlier schedule:

    DM / M.Ch

    07.04.2020 to 09.04.2020


    M.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Courses

    07.04.2020 to 09.04.2020


    MD / MS / MDS / M. Biotechnology

    15.04.2020 to 17.04.2020


    B.Sc. (H) & Post Basic Nursing

    Not Scheduled


    Final MBBS

    Not Scheduled


    Second MBBS

    Not Scheduled


    No capturing of Biometric Data (only for May 2020 Professional Examination)-- AIIMS stated

    II. REGISTRATION & ONLINE PAYMENT OF EXAMINATION FEES

    Under Graduate and Post Graduate students who are likely to appear for above mentioned examinations are advised to visit the website www.aiimsexams.org, under Student Tab to go to desired course, Click on Professional Exams Registration link, fill the Examination Form and make payment of Examination Fees through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking only. The fees to be paid will be populated automatically depending upon the course.

    Online Registration open for Submission of Examination Fee: 15.04.2020

    Registration Closing date: 23.04.2020

    III. ADMIT CARD

    Only those eligible candidates who have paid their Examination Fees as per the above mentioned schedule will be able to download their Admit Card w.e.f. 17.04.2020 onwards by visiting website www.aiimsexams.org, under Student Tab to go to desired course, Click on Admit Card link, Enter Enrolment Number and Date of Birth to download admit card.

    IV. NO REGISTRATION & ONLINE PAYMENT OF EXAMINATION FEES FOR FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME
