    NEET 2020 syllabus not changed: NTA issues clarification

    New Delhi: Bashing the fake notice which is being circulated regarding the change in the syllabus of NEET, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a clarification.

    NTA stated that it come to its notice that a fake Public Notice has been circulating concerning the change in the syllabus of NEET. Therefore, clarifying over the same, all candidates preparing for NEET 2020 are hereby informed that there is NO change in syllabus of NEET. NTA does not decide the syllabus, it only provides a link to the syllabus. The link is provided in the Information Bulletin and reproduced again (www.mciindia.orq)

    Please do not be misled by false information and fake Notices.

    Earlier, NTA had informed about the in view of the hardships faced by the aspirants of NEET 2020 in making corrections in the particulars in the Online Application Form due to the coronavirus (COVID19) epidemic, it has further given the facility for making corrections in the particulars in the Online Application Form.

    The largest entrance examination for UG medical courses, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the gateway for admissions to medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and AYUSH courses in the country. The test will be conducted as per regulations of the Indian Medical Council Act-1956 and the Dentists Act-1948, and as amended from time to time.

    This year, the admission to MBBS course in AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER and all AIIMS like institutions will also be made through NEET.

    Correction in the particulars in the Online Application Forms shall be accepted upto 05.00 PM and submission of fee upto 11.50 PM

    The requisite fee can be paid through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking/UPI and PAYTM

    The candidates are requested to undertake the correction(s) very carefully as no further chance of correction will be provided to the candidates.

    In case, additional fee payment is required depending on the changes made in the form, the final updates will be reflected after the payment.

    The additional amount (if applicable) can be paid through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking.

    The candidates and their parents are advised to keep visiting ntaneet.nic.in and www.nta.ac.in for the latest updates. They are also being informed individually through their registered mobile number/ email-id.

    The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2020 examination which was scheduled to be held on the 3rd May 2020, has been postponed.

    The NTA had clearly stated in that notice, "As of now, the examination is proposed to be held in the last week of May 2020. The exact date will be announced later on after assessing the situation. Accordingly, the Admit Cards for the Examination which were to be issued on 27th March 2020 will now be issued later on after assessing the situation after 15th April 2020 only. We understand that academic calendar and schedule are important but equally important is well being of every citizen including students."
