DNB Post MBBS 2019: NBE releases Schedule for Final Round In person Counselling, Details
New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the schedule for the final round of counselling for candidates who have applied to pursue DNB Post MBBS courses.
As per the notification published on the official website of NBE, the Final Round (in-person) of DNB Post MBBS Centralized Merit Based Counseling shall be conducted at National Board of Examinations, PSP Area, Sector – 9, Dwarka (Landmark: Opp. District Court, Dwarka, New Delhi as per the schedule given below:

● All the candidates who have registered for Online Counseling and have not been allotted with any seat during the first, second and third round of online counselling are eligible to participate in this Final Round (in-person) of
Counselling. There is no fee to be paid for participation in the Final Round (in-person) of Counseling.
● Candidates who have been allotted a confirmed seat during the online counselling (1st or 2 nd or 3 rd Round) are NOT eligible to participate in the Final Round (in-person) of Counseling irrespective of their acceptance/rejection of
allotted seat and/or joining/non-joining/resignation from the seat already allotted to them.
● Candidates who are eligible to participate in the Final Round (in-person) of Counseling can download their Counseling Participation Letter from the below-mentioned website link:
● It is mandatory that the candidates who wish to participate in the Final Round (in-person) of counselling have to produce the Counseling Participation Letter, downloaded from the website mentioned at the above link, at the time of counselling.
● All the eligible candidates appearing for Final Round (in-person) of counselling required to produce all the documents/certificates, in original, as mentioned in the Handbook of counselling for January 2019 admission session, failing which the candidate shall not be allowed to participate in the Final Round (in-person) of counselling.
● Candidates are required to produce a One-year course fee of Rs. 1,25,000/-(Rupees One Lakh Twenty Five Thousand Only) as Demand Draft (DD) in favour of National Board of Examinations payable at New Delhi while opting the seat in the Final Round (in-person) of counselling, failing which the seat opted by them, shall not be allotted.
● The Indicative seat matrix for the Final Round (in-person) of counselling shall be made available on NBE website shortly. Final Seat matrix shall be notified at the NBE website and the Counseling venue prior to the commencement of the Final Round (in-person) of counselling.
● The candidates opting confirmed seats during the Final Round (in-person) of counselling can download their allotment letter from the Counseling website https://counseling.nbe.edu.in/.
● The candidate allotted with a confirmed seat during the Final Round (in-person) of counselling has to join the allotted institute within the prescribed time (i.e. by 27.06.2019) mentioned in the counselling schedule available on the website.
● Joining of the candidate is subject to verification of original documents and eligibility for admission to DNB (Post MBBS) as per NBE guidelines published in the Information Bulletin & Handbook for Admission to Diplomate of National Board Post Graduate Courses (Post MBBS) January 2019 Admission Session.
● Candidates are required to make their own arrangements for boarding & lodging. Travel cost to appear in the Final Round (in-person) of counselling shall be borne by the candidates themselves.
● Candidates are advised to report to the counselling venue at the prescribed time. Candidates reporting after the prescribed time are liable to miss their turn in the Counseling/non-participation. NBE shall not be responsible for any delay in arrival due to any reason. No claim in this regard shall be entertained. NBE reserves its rights to take appropriate decisions in cases of late reporting by the candidates. However, no candidate under any circumstances shall be allowed to disrupt the existing flow of candidates for counselling if he/she reports late on any ground.
