DNB Convocation for 9 Sessions Preponed: NBE issues notice

Through a recent notice, National Board Of Examinations informed about the Preponement Of 19th Convocation and Awards Ceremony. The convocation ceremony shall be held for candidates for 9 sessions including December 2013, June 2014, December 2014, June 2015, December 2015, June 2016, December 2016, June 2017, December 2017.

Earlier the convocation was supposed to be held by National Board Of Examinations at Vigyan Bhavan Plenary Hall, Maulana Azad Road, New Delhi on Monday, the 24

th September 2018. However, the same has now been preponed to Friday, the 21st of September, 2018. The Awards for Excellence in Medical Education for the years 2014 and 2015 shall be conferred upon distinguished faculty and NBE accredited institutions at the Convocation.

The notice along with the full details of the original website of NBE is given:

• Due to unavoidable circumstances and for reasons beyond our control, the National Board of Examinations is constrained to reschedule the 19th Convocation and Awards Ceremony to Friday, the 21st of September, 2018 at 4 pm.


• The venue shall remain the same i.e. Vigyan Bhavan Plenary Hall, Maulana Azad Road, New Delhi.


• DNB qualified candidates who have been declared as Gold Medal winners and Awardees for Excellence in Medical Education are requested to confirm their participation in the 19th Convocation and Awards Ceremony, through email id: convocation@natboard.edu.in by the 10th of September 2018.

In the Notice published in leading Newspapers on 8/9/2018, the day of the 19th Convocation and Awards Ceremony, has been inadvertently mentioned as, Saturday, the 21st of September, 2018.

It may be read as Friday, the 21st of September, 2018.
