DMER Maharahtra issues notice regarding eligibility of BDS Candidates for AYUSH admission Round
Through a recent notice Directorate Of Medical Education and Research Maharashtra informed about the eligibility of students for Ayurveda/Homeopathy/Unani /PT/OT/BASLP/BP&O and BSc Nursing Course in subsequent round(s). As per above reference notice, the selection list for Second MOP-UP round was declared on 06.09.2018. The candidate who got seat in Government/Corporation/Private Unaided/Minority Dental Colleges or who was selected to Dental College in previous round(s) and if his/her higher choices are Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Unani/ PT /OT/ BASLP/ BP&O and BSc Nursing Colleges, then such a candidate should resign/cancel the allotted. The dental seat on or before 11.09.2018 by 05.00 pm so as to become eligible for Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Unani/ PT /OT/ BASLP/ BP&O and BSc Nursing Course in subsequent round(s).
If such a candidate opts for resigning the allotted Dental seat and in subsequent rounds fails to get the higher choice of Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Unani/ PT /OT/ BASLP/ BP&O and BSc Nursing, then such a candidate cannot claim his/her previous allotted BDS seat. As cut-off-date for BDS is 15.09.2018 (As per DCI).
All the candidates are requested to note the following procedure.
1. Candidates who were admitted for BDS course on or before 3rd September 2018 will NOT be held eligible after 11th September 2018 for Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Unani/ PT /OT/ BASLP/ BP&O and BSc Nursing Courses, even though their Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Unani/ PT /OT/ BASLP/ BP&O and BSc Nursing choices are higher.
However, such a candidate if wants to resign Dental seat, so as to remain waitlisted for Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Unani/ PT /OT/ BASLP/ BP&O and BSc Nursing, then he must resign his/her present seat (BDS) on or before 11.09.2018 up to 05.00 pm at respective Dental college.
2. Candidates who are selected for Dental courses on 06.09.2018 and if their higher choices are Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Unani/ PT /OT/ BASLP/ BP&O and BSc Nursing Course, then they must take decision up to 11.09.2018, whether to take admission for BDS or wants to remain waitlisted for Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Unani/ PT /OT/ BASLP/ BP&O and BSc Nursing courses.
3. If a candidate selected for BDS course on 06.09.2018 and decides to remain waitlisted for Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Unani/ PT /OT/ BASLP/ BP&O and BSc Nursing courses, then he/she must resign the Dental seat up to 11.09.2018. Such a Candidate can submit willingness letter personally to respective allotted Dental college. If such willingness letter is not submitted, then request will not be considered and he/she will not be held eligible for higher choice of Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Unani/ PT /OT/ BASLP/ BP&O and BSc Nursing courses.
4. A candidate resigning the dental seat which he/she got on 06.09.2018, so as to remain waitlisted for Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Unani/ PT /OT/ BASLP/ BP&O and BSc Nursing courses may get these courses as per their merit and preferences entered in preference form. If he/she fails to get Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Unani/ PT /OT/ BASLP/ BP&O and BSc Nursing courses in subsequent rounds, then he/she will lose his/her all previous claims.
