    DM, MCh, DNB SS Admissions 2019: MCC issues notice on Surrender of Round 1 seats

    New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the recent notice to informing about the surrender of DM, MCh and DNB SS seats acquired during Round-1 NEET SS counselling.

    The MCC in its notification, clearly informs all candidates and colleges/ institutes that the NEET SS candidates who had given their Willingness for up-gradation as “YES” during Round-1 will only be allowed to surrender their seats in online mode.

    Candidates who had given willingness as “NO” cannot surrender their seat and even if the seat is surrendered in offline mode, such candidates would not be allowed to participate in Stray Vacancy Round of NEET Super Specialist Counselling.

    As per the documeted schedule of counselling, the Stray Vacancy Round for Super Speciality Counselling conducted by MCC of DGHS will get over on 15th Sept 2019. After that there will be no more further rounds of counselling for D.M/ M.Ch seats. However, as far as DNB seats are concerned, the vacant seats will be transferred/ reverted back to NBE for further action at their end, the notice added.

    Medical Dialogues had reported that in accordance with Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India, the minimum qualifying percentiles in NEET-SS 2019 have been lowered as follows:
    In the Super-specialty courses of CTVS, Cardiology and Paediatric Surgery, the minimum qualifying percentiles have been lowered to 20th Percentile.
    For the remaining Super Specialty courses, the minimum qualifying percentiles have been lowered to 40th Percentile.In view of the above; the schedule for the conduction of Stray Vacancy Round after reduced cut off is as under as uploaded by the MCC on its official website :
