NEET 2019 Counselling of Internal Seats at AMU: MCC issues notice on Eligibility
New Delhi: Through a recent notification, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed the Candidates who want to participate for Internal seats of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) regarding their eligibility.
Candidates who want to choose Internal Seats of AMU may kindly note the following for participation in counselling of Internal seats of Aligarh Muslim University.
An Internal Candidate is one who has passed the qualifying examination conducted by the university as a regular student not earlier than THREE (03) academic years from the date of admission to the course he/she is seeking admission to. And all other candidates shall be treated as External.
In view of the above, those who have passed qualifying examination as a regular student from Aligarh Muslim University during the session 2016-17, 2017-18 & 2018-19 are Internal (Institutional) candidates.
Candidates are required to check their eligibility before applying for Internal Seats of AMU. Also, only Institutional (Internal) candidates will be eligible for admission in the Final Mop Up Round (Stray Vacancy Round). A separate Notice/ schedule will be issued by the University for Final Mop Up Round (Stray Vacancy Round).
Medical Dialogues had earlier reported about the notice of MCC which states that all the candidates who are claiming to be NRI as per the directions/orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the case (W.P. (C) No.689/2017- Consortium of Deemed universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Anr. Vs. Union Of India & Ors.) dated 22-08-2017 (Copy enclosed), should send their relevant documents as mentioned below, in support of their claim of change of nationality from Indian/Other to NRI through e-mail nri.adgmemcc1@gmail.com by 20th June 2019 (Thursday) till 02:00 PM.
All such candidates are advised to be in touch with the mcc.nic.in website for further course of action. Mails received after the stipulated time (02:00 PM of 20th June,2019) will not be considered.
