Counseling for MBBS course at JIPMER to begin on June 26

Puducherry: Counseling for admission into first year MBBS course at the Jawharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer) here will commence on June 26.

As many as 1,56,422 candidates appeared for the entrance examination held all over the country on June 3 and the merit list was published in the Jipmer website on June 8.

On June 26, counseling for General Unreserved, Physically and Orthopedically Handicapped, on June 27 for General OBC/SC/ST, and on June 28 for Puducherry-UR/OBC/SC & NRI/OCI will be conducted.

On June 25, Medical examination will be conducted for PwD- OPH & P-OPH candidates by JIPMER Medical board, according to a Jipmer release on Tuesday.

The counseling is to fill 200 seats--150 for Jipmer Puducherry and 50 for Jipmer Karaikal, the release added.
