    Conditional Approval Given to 5 medical colleges for Super Specialty Seats

    The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has granted the conditional permission for seat increment to medical colleges for the academic year 2016-17


    This permission for starting/increasing the seats in PG (super specialty) courses and admission students will be till such time the first batch of students admitted against the courses appears for the first final examination in the subject. The college authorities may take up the matter for recognition of the qualifications under the section of 11(2) of IMC act at the time of first batch admitted against the courses for the final year examination.


    Medical Council of India (MCI) is being requested to return the additional bank guarantee of Rs. 2 crore submitted by the medical college in the ministry as per the condition laid by the OC which is now in possession of MCI
