Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that after coming to power, the Yogi Adityanath government had announced setting up of 13 medical colleges in the state.

To accelerate the hiring process of medical teachers in five of the newly established medical colleges in the state, the Uttar Pradesh medical Education department had decided to constitute societies to conduct recruitment test. The move came towards the decentralisation of the hiring process and aims to quicken the process of hiring at their medical colleges.
