RGUHS issues Circular to all Govt, Private Medical Colleges on Submission of HR Details
Bengaluru: Through a recent circular, the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) has asked all the government and private medical colleges affiliated to it to submit human resource details for the purpose of COVID 19 management.
The notice issued by the registrar to all the deans and principals of the medical colleges clearly states that the Government of Karnataka is responding to the challenges posed by COVID-19 on a war footing, RGUHS is participating actively and supporting the actions and activities of the Government.
Similar proactive involvement is expected from all medical colleges, the notice stated adding that the Management and Administrators of most Medical colleges in Karnataka state have already provided Human resource details of respective colleges to the University. Such of those who haven't submitted the list may d so immediately (proforma enclosed in the link attached below). In continuation, the Management and Administration of all the medical colleges are hereby directed to deploy their faculty as per the deployment plans issued by the competent authority of the Government from time to time.
Furthermore, the authorities are directed to instruct their faculty and other human resources not to leave headquarters for the period of this emergency. Any instance of dereliction or failure to comply will be viewed seriously and action may be initiated as per the provisions of The Epidemic Act 1897.
