CENTAC releases Change in Schedule for IInd round Counselling, Details

Puducherry: The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) 2019-20 informed about the Change in Schedule for PG Medical IInd round Counselling. The schedule along with the details of the original website of CENTAC is mentioned below:

Change in Schedule for IInd round Counselling:

In view of the continuous bank holidays and requests from the candidates, the counselling schedule for the 2nd Round PG Medical Seats is changed as below:

NOTE: The vacancy details are published on the website www.centacpuducherry.in. All candidates who are already registered with CENTAC are only eligible for 2nd round counselling on payment of Registration fee.

For Govt Quota and Minority Quota, the Seat Matrix for 2nd Round is updated on the Website.

In terms of the orders of the Health Department, the unfilled Minority (Management) quota seats after 2nd Round will be converted into Management quota seats and filled on All India basis. Accordingly, the unfilled minority quota seats will be converted on 24th after 2nd round and updated on the website by 4:00 pm on 24th April. The Candidates can choose these seats as Management Quota Seats.

Accordingly, the candidates opting for Management Quota seats may transfer the REGISTRATION FEE of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two lakh Only) till 25th April 2019 and update the preferences till 25th April 2019.

The registration fee for the 2nd round

Candidates who have already registered have to pay the registration fee for the 2nd round as per guidelines as below:

(a) Govt. Quota Rs.25,000/- ( Rs. 1 2,500 / – for SC/ Sr /OBC/EBC/M BC/BCM )

(b) Management Quota Rs.2,00,000/-

NOTE:

UT of Puducherry candidates who opt for both Govt. Quota and Management Quota seats must pay Rs.2,00,000/-
Only those students who pay the fee as noted above will be considered for the 2nd round.

Forfeiture of Registration Fee:

Candidates should note that if they are allotted the seat in the 2nd round and fail to join the allotted seat, then the registration fee paid will be forfeited. The fee will be refunded to the candidates who are not allotted any seats.
