Bihar government sanctions 54 new posts in three medical colleges
Patna: Bihar government on Tuesday sanctioned 54 news posts in three medical colleges of the state.
A proposal to that effect was approved in a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar here.
State principal secretary (cabinet secretariat department) Arun Kumar Singh said 18 new posts each would be created in the offices of principals belonging to government medical colleges in Bettiah and Madhepura and Pawapuri (Nalanda) based Vardhman Institute of Medical Sciences. He said these new posts had been created in accordance with Medical Council of India (MCI)'s guidelines.
Mr Singh said with an objective to improve academic activity at Madrasas recognised by Bihar State Madrasa Education Board and government madrasas, Bihar State Madrasa Education Strengthening Scheme and related guidelines were also approved in the cabinet meeting.
