Beware: MCC issues advisory on fake Allotment Letter being issued for PG Medical Admissions

New Delhi: Discovering a racket of some fake agencies issuing fake allotment/nomination letter for admission to Under Graduate (MBBS/BDS) and Post Graduate (MD/MS/Diploma and MDS) seats under the Central Pool Quota by the Ministry of Health & FW, Government of India, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has recently issued a warning for candidates and medical/dental colleges alike

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on its website as issued a public notice for information of all Candidates/Medical and Dental Colleges/Universities of the country regarding seeking admission in UG/PG (Medical/Dental) seats based on forged Documents/Certificates. The notice clearly states that:

It has come to our notice that fake allotment/nomination letter for admission to Under Graduate (MBBS/BDS) and Post Graduate (MD/MS/Diploma and MDS) seats under the Central Pool Quota by the Ministry of Health & FW, Government of India are being issued by some fake agencies. The students and all the concerned Medical/Dental colleges of the country should be aware about such fake allotment/nomination letter and they may lodge FIR with Police Station immediately on receiving any complaint in this regard under intimation to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Medical Counselling Committee of Directorate General of Health Services, Govt. of India New Delhi for taking further necessary action .

It is essential to mention that nomination/allotment letter is issued only for Undergraduate (MBBS/BDS) seats under the Central Pool Quota to the eligible candidates by authorised Officer of Ministry of Health and FW, Govt. of India, New Delhi based on recommendation of concerned Department, Ministry. No nomination/allotment letter for PG Medical seats is issued by MoHFW and MCC of DGHS.

All the Medical/Dental colleges /Universities across the country are requested to take prior confirmation from Ministry of Health and FW and Directorate General of Health Services on an immediate basis before giving admission to candidates to stop such irregularities.

MCC will conduct counseling for the following Institutions/Universities:-

a) 50 % All India Quota seats for all State Govt. medical/dental colleges/institutes, except state of Jammu and Kashmir as per merit of PG NEET 2019.

b) For all PG seats of the Deemed Universities as per merit of PG NEET 2019.

c) 50 % institutional quota seats for Central Universities of Delhi University, Aligarh Muslim University, and Banaras Hindu University.

d) PG counseling for institutes of Armed Forces Medical Services.

e) The state Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana are participating in online counseling of All India Quota from the academic year 2019-20 onwards.
