BAMS student alleges assault by seniors; 6 Booked
The senior student called the BAMS student and asked him to come to the institute's campus for a talk. Unknown to the intentions, he went there with 2 of his friends. The moment he reached the spot, the senior student along with 3 of his mates allegedly started abusing him and when he retaliated, they had beaten him using belts and hurled stones at him. Afterwards, 2 other seniors came and joined the accused in assaulting him.
Bhopal: A case of an alleged assault has come up from a Kolar based Ayurveda medical college wherein 6 BAMS students have been booked by the police for allegedly beating up a junior student recently. The action was taken based on the complaint filed by the second year BAMS student.
In his complaint, the junior student accused the seniors of assaulting him over a petty reason during a dance programme organised at the institute. According to a TOI report, he stated that at the dance event, an argument broke out between him and a senior student, which somehow settled the same day. However, the next day, that senior student called him up and asked him to come to the institute's campus for a talk. Unknown to the intentions, he went there with 2 of his friends.
The moment they reached the campus, the senior student along with 3 of his mates started abusing him and when he retaliated, they had beaten him using belts and hurled stones at him. Afterwards, 2 other seniors came and joined the accused in assaulting him.

The complainant student further mentioned that when his friends saw the incident they came and tried to save him, the accused students assaulted them as well. Subsequently, they fled the spot threatening him not to argue with them in future, reports TOI
Aggrieved with the incident, the junior BAMS student moved the police and filed a complaint. Accordingly, a case was registered against the prime accused and his accomplices.
Further investigation into the case in on. No arrests have been made so far against the accused.
