    AYUSH Ministry issues corrigendum on Counselling of UG, PG seats; Details

    New Delhi: Through a recent notification, Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy) issued a corrigendum on the requirement of state governments providing details of UG and PG seats 2019-20 academic session counselling.


    The notice removes the requirement of state governments to submit the details of BNYS (Bachelors in Naturopathy Yoga) course.

    The notice uploaded on the original website of the Ministry clearly states:


    Reference is invited to the Ministry's letter of even no. dated 03.01.2019. In which, all the State Authorities were requested to provide the details of UG and PG seats under the Central Quota of all AYUSH UG (BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS & BNYS) courses and all AYUSH PG courses in all the colleges under their jurisdiction.


    In this regard, the request of seat detail of BNYS may be ignored and details requested in Point 3 on page 2 of the letter may be read as in view of the above, you are requested to provide detail of UG and PG seats under the Central Quota of all ASU & H UG (BAMS, BUMS, BSMS. & BHMS) courses and all ASU & H PG courses in all the Colleges under your jurisdiction should be provided as per format given hereunder:


    (i) For all ASU & H UG Courses:
