Vacant Mch Seats: DY Patil Medical College slashes Fee to almost One third

Mumbai: Unable to find suitable candidates to fill up its Mch (CardioVascular and Thoracic Surgery), DY Patil Medical College, Pune has slashed its course fee from 19,30,700/- to Rs.6,40,000/

A confirmation to this effect was sent by the Dean of the medical college to Assitant Director General (ME) asking him to incorporate the same on the MCC portal. The notice stated

With reference to the above-mentioned subject, the following fee for M. Ch. (CardioVascular and Thoracic Surgery) for the year 2018-2019 has already been communicated to you via an online entry on MMC portal dated 13-08-2018 at 11.46am. M. Ch. (CardioVascular and Thoracic Surgery) Rs.19,30,700/- (Consolidated)

Most of the CVTS seats are vacant in most of the Government Institutions also.

To cater the excellent services for the patient care, Institute is in very much need of Superspeciality Students in the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. Therefore, the management is pleased to reduce the Tuition from 19,30,700/- (Consolidated) to Rs.6,40,000/- (Consolidated).

You are, therefore, requested to kindly consider our request for modifying the fee for MCh. (CardioVascular and Thoracic Surgery) from Rs.19,30,700/- (Consolidated) to Rs.6,40,000/- (Consolidated). The necessary modification please be done on MMC website. The residents of this programme shall be paid stipend at par with State Government rules.
