Attention DNB Candidates: NBE issues Notice Regarding Formative Assessment Test 2018, details

Through a recent notice National Board of Examinations conducting Formative Assessment Test (FAT) for 2018 for DNB trainees who are currently under training as per below-given details:

i.	Broad Specialty Courses	In the 2nd year of DNB training	January 2017, July 2017
ii.	Super Specialty Courses	In the 2nd year of DNB training	January 2017
iii.	Post Diploma Courses	In the 2nd year of DNB training	January 2017, July 2017
iv.	Fellowship Courses	In the 1st year of DNB training	January 2018
v.	Direct 6 year courses	In 2nd & 4th year of DNB training	January 2015, July 2015, January 2017, July 2017

• The schedule of Formative Assessment Test to be conducted by NBE for the above candidates is as follows:

	Activity	Dates
i.	Theory Examination	14th October 2018
ii.	Work Place Based Clinical Assessment	December 2018/ January 2019

Further details regarding the same shall be sent to the candidates on their registered email id.

• Formative Assessment Test for the following DNB trainees shall be conducted by the concerned accredited institutes/ hospitals as per the guidelines prescribed by NBE:

Also look at the notice attached below regarding Guidelines for conduct of Internal Appraisal of candidates by NBE Accredited Hospitals/ Institutes (2018-19).

The hospitals shall be submitting a report of the internal appraisal conducted by them in the format given in above guidelines.
