ATTENTION: DNB Final Exam RESCHEDULED, NBE issues notice

New Delhi: Through a recent notice National Board of Examinations informed about the rescheduling of the DNB Final Examination.

Earlier the said exam was scheduled to be held from 7th – 9th December 2018. However, now the exam is going to be held from 8th – 10th December 2018

The details along with the original website of NBE is given:

• The forthcoming DNB Final Examination is scheduled to be held from 7th – 9th December 2018 as per the Information Bulletin.


• In view of the elections being declared in Rajasthan and Telangana and voting to be done on 7th December 2018, it has been decided that DNB Final examination all across the country shall be held from 8th – 10th December 2018 as per the following schedule:

• Candidates may note the above change in the date and make their travel plans accordingly.

Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported that NBE had announced a new Question Paper Pattern for DNB Final Theory Exam & Direct 6 years Super Specialty Courses for all.

This comes in the light of the fact that certain DNB courses had papers parts in the MCQ format. For instance, part IV of the theory exam of DNB ( Medicine) was in MCQ Format.

To bring in uniformity in the exam of pattern across the subjects, NBE has announced that All the question papers of DNB Final Theory Exam and Direct 6 years Super Specialty Courses (Part I) will consist of short note type questions only from the forthcoming December 2018 exam session
