Apply for PG Ayurveda with CEE Kerala: Last date tomorrow
Kerala: CEE Kerala has invited online applications from BAMS passouts who intend to take admission to Post Graduate Degree Courses in Ayurveda for the year 2019-20 in Government Ayurveda Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Trippunithura and Kannur, Aided Ayurveda Colleges at Ollur and Kottakkal and other Self Financing colleges.
Last date and time for online submission of application: All candidates seeking admission to the course should submit the online application along with uploaded Certificates/Documents before 5 pm of 05.09.2019.
Applications are invited for the following specialities.
(i) Kayachikitsa (vi) Prasuti & Sthreerog (xi) Manovigyan Avum Vigyan
(ii) Salakyathantra (vii) Ayurveda Sidhantha & Darsana (xii) Agadathantra
(iii)Rasasastra Bhaishajyakalpana (viii) Panchakarma (xiii) Kriyasareer
(iv) Dravyaguna (ix) Kaumarabhrithya (xiv ) Roganidana
(v) Swasthawritha (x) Salyathantra
Eligibility for admission:
i) Nativity : Applicant should be an Indian Citizen of kerala origin except Foreign Quota and Lakshadweep Quota.
ii) Age: Candidate should not be over 45 years of age as on 31.07.2019, subject to a relaxation of five years in the case of SC/ST candidates. In the case of service quota candidates, the age limit of teachers quota candidates should be 50 as on 31.07.2019 and that of medical officer quota candidates should be 46 as on 31.07.2019.
iii) Academic Qualifications: All candidates including Service quota seeking PG (Ay) courses in the State of Kerala for the academic year 2018-19 should be qualified the National Eligibility –Cum Entrance Test for PG (Ay) Courses (AYUSH PGET) conducted by AIIA, New Delhi and should figure in the rank list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Candidates should have obtained BAM /Ayurvedacharya /BAMS from the colleges having CCIM recognition and BAMS Degree of Universities in Kerala or its equivalent degree recognized by the University of Kerala with 50% of marks for theory and practical separately in each subject. But exemption for minimum marks prescribed for admission for MD (Ay)/MS (Ay) is granted to the students who have passed the BAMS/BAM examination before 1995 from the Universities of Kerala without 50% of marks for theory and practical. Applicants who shall complete compulsory internship on or before the date of admission are eligible to apply for admission subject to the production of Internship Certificate from the Medical Council constituted in this regard.
Mode of selection:
Selection of candidates including the seats reserved for Medical Officer of the Department of I.S.M, Teachers Quota and for the candidate sponsored by the Lakshadweep Administration will be made on the basis of the rank obtained in Entrance Examination conducted by the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA). The minimum eligibility mark in the entrance test shall be 50th percentile in the case of general category and that of SC/ST/SEBC category shall be 40th percentile. In respect of candidates in persons with disability category, the minimum mark shall be at 45th percentile for general category and 40th percentile for SC/ST/SEBC category.
Submission of Applications and Application Fee:
All candidates including Service Candidates seeking admission to the Post Graduate Degree Courses in Ayurveda (MD Ayurveda) can apply in the Online application form available from 02.09.2019 onwards through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and then remit the required fee by way of online payment or by way of e-chalan available during the submission of online application. Payment through e-chalan can be made in cash at the Head post offices in Kerala. After remitting the required application fee upload photo and signature of the candidates and all necessary certificates /Documents, Mark Sheet-Cum-Result Certificate of AIAPGET2019. Service Candidates including Teachers Quota should send their Application by taking printout of the online application along with NOC (No Objection Certificate) and all necessary Certificates to the Director, Directorate of Ayurveda Medical Education, Arogyabhavan, MG Road, and Thiruvananthapuram. Medical Officers(ISM) should send their application through their Controlling Officer (The Director, ISM Department) to the Directorate of Ayurveda Medical Education, Arogyabhavan, MG Road, and Thiruvananthapuram.
Application Fee for General Candidates and Service Candidates is Rs.1000/-(Rupees One thousand only). In case of SC/ST candidates and those eligible for SC/ST benefits as per G.O.(MS)No.25/05/SCST DD dated 20.06.2005 is Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only). Service Candidates seeking admission in General Quota also should pay an extra amount of Rs.1000/-. Application fee once remitted will not be refunded. The Prospectus can be downloaded from the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 02.09.2019 onwards.
Last date and time for online submission of application: All candidates seeking admission to the course should submit the online application along with uploaded Certificates/Documents mentioned in clause 9.2.4 of the prospectus before 5 pm of 05.09.2019
Candidates will be allowed, neither to include any information in the application form nor to submit any certificates/Documents claiming reservation or any benefits, after the submission of the application.
Candidates may go through the various provisions of the Prospectus for admission to MD Ayurveda courses 2019 available on the Official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations www.cee-kerala.org before filling up the Online application forms.
No need to send the printout of the application or any documents to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
