When inspected on 6th January 2016, RVS Institute of Medical Sciences, Chittoor had deficiencies of 96.9% Faculties & % 97.8% residents. Bed occupancy was just 2%. Blood bank was non-functional. Not a single patient was present in ICUs. Only 89 nursing staff was available against 175 needed. It seems that MCI & Oversight Committee are competing to achieve lower standards in medical education.
