Amritsar: Government Dental College and Hospital holds annual convocation

Punjab: Graduates and postgraduates at Government Dental College and Hospital were recently conferred with degrees on the annual convocation held at the college premise recently.

Students of last five years were facilitated at the event. Principal, Dr Vimal Sikri present on the occasion implied in his statement that the premier college has produced some renowned doctors in the field of dental science. To mark the special event, the college magazine Sadhaar has also been release here.

As reported by Tribune, Dr Raj Bahadur, Vice-Chancellor, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, attended the function as chief guest and conferred degrees on students. Speaking on the occasion he said the completion of academic degree was the first milestone of a very long roadmap of learning that lies ahead.

He asked students not to stop learning as medical field required regular studying due to new techniques being developed every day.
