Bhopal: In a new development in the Vyapam scam the police have in a written communication asked the GR Medical College, Dean to hand over the report of the committee appointed to look into charges imposed on him.

The case relates to a Rahul Yadav's admission case, who is believed to have been impersonated by another Uttar Pradesh Medical Student. According to Vyapam whistleblower, Ashish Chaturvedi, the latter seems to have met with death under unusual circumstance.

"Despite repeated reminders and letters, we have not received any information or reporting regarding alleged flaws in the admission of Rahul Yadav. We would like to know the report of the internal committee that was formed by the college to probe irregularities in his admission, and also the name of people who are accountable for it. Please provide the reports at the earliest as we have to file a supplementary charge sheet in the case," says the communiqué sent by Jhansi Road, Gwalior police to the Dean. The letter dismisses all accountability to the Dean, "in case there is an adverse remark from the court on the matter".

Mr Chaturvedi meanwhile, in the earlier proceedings of the case had questioned the CBI Director on whether Ram Munish, a solver and missing link in the Gwalior Vyapam scam case had met with his end or was still alive. The missing Munish, was allegedly a dummy candidate for Rahul Yadav, a key accused in the Vyapam case.

Mr Chaturvedi, a complainant in the Yadav case, was keen to know why Munish's whereabouts were not being tracked by the interrogating agencies.

Chaturvedi is both witness and complainant in at least 12 Vyapam cases, and is also the man who has revealed Munish's identity to SIT Gwalior, in an FIR on April 21, 2014.

He is also taken aback that this case like all other Vyapam cases has not been handed over to the CBI even now, reports TOI.
