UP governor appoints VCs of two universities

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik appointed Vice Chancellors in King George's Medical University (KGMU) and Madan Mohan Malviya Technical University (MMTU), Gorakhpur for a tenure of three years.


While MLB Bhatt, head of Radiology department of the KGMU has been appointed Vice Chancellor, Prof Srinivas Singh of Electrical Engineering department, IIT Kanpur took charge as VC of MMMTU, Gorakhpur, a release issued by Raj Bhawan said.

The tenure of their service will be for three years from the date of joining.
