TN Medical Selection releases documents details for Admission to PG courses

Tamil Nadu: Through a recent notification, Directorate of Medical Education Tamil Nadu (TN Medical Selection) has instructed the candidates, who are intending to apply for Post-Graduate (PG) courses 2019-2020 session; to collect certain certificates to apply for these courses.


Candidates, who are seeking admission in PG degree, PG Diploma and MDS courses will have to obtain the below-mentioned certificates as mandated by the DME.


The notification issued by Dr G Selvarajan, Secretary / Addl. Director of Medical Education, clearly states :


The candidates who are seeking admission to Post Graduate Degree / Diploma / MDS Courses 2019-2020 session are requested to obtain the following certificates in advance to enable them to apply for the above Courses.



1. The candidates those who have qualified MBBS Degree from other University should obtain the Eligibility Certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University, Guindy, and Chennai 600 032.

2. The candidates who are applying under orthopaedically and Physically Disabled Category should obtain a Medical certificate from the Regional Medical Board, Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospitals, Chennai-600 003.

3. Candidates who are Native of Tamil Nadu and qualified MBBS in other states should obtain the Nativity Certificate from Tamil Nadu and it should be issued by the competent authority of Tamil Nadu with Date and Seal.
