Telangana: State Govt files petition for Extra Time to complete EAMCET counselling

New Delhi: After the successfully completion of the EAMCET-III examination, the Telangana state government asked for one month time to complete its Counselling session for the academic year of 2016. For this, the Telangana state has filled a petition in the Supreme court.


The Supreme Court had fixed the deadline for completion of counselling as September 30, 2016 as govt had re-conduct the examination due to the question paper leak. The court will hear its first hearing on Wednesday, Reports Hans


Meanwhile the Managements of Andhra Pradesh Private Medical and Dental Colleges Association and the NTR Health University has raised the question of migration of students from AP to Telangana and that they should have an opportunity to fill such possible vacancies again.


On the other hand, the Presidential Orders cleared that, 85 per cent seats go to the locals students while rest 15 per cent seats will distribute to the outsiders students.
