Telangana: Coming Soon, a Medical College in Nalgonda

Nalgonda: Nalogonda’s people are soon to realize their medical college dream with the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao, approving the Nalgonda MP, Gutha Sukhender’s representation.


The proposal had been mooted during the Congress rule, however it didn’t take off the ground, due to the general attitude of negligence on the part of the ruling regime towards Telangana.


The up gradation of the district headquarters hospital to a 560 bedded unit has further facilitated the setting up of the new medical college. After the sanctioned up gradation, the government has also approved a new building for the additional bed strength. the hospital has 250 beds and the government added another 160 beds and set up 150-bed Mother and Child Hospital, reports TOI.


The new hospital building is supposed to be completed by March 30 and the Chief Minister is likely to be invited for the inaugural, by MP Gutha Sukhender in April this year. The requirement for five hundred bedded hospital for starting of a new Medical college will soon be fulfilled.
