Tamil Nadu: Inspection team visits at Palayamkottai Siddha medical college hospital

A four member team, led by Dr. Rajasekar, former Additional Secretary, Department of Public Health , Government of Tamil Nadu, visited the Government Siddha Medical College Hospital in Palayamkottai.


The team visited the Siddha Medical College Hospital to know working condition, infrastructure as well as the quality level of education. The team visited the college to ensure, whether the college has sufficient space or not for 100 students, to be admitted in the ensuing academic year.


They visited the college, hospital, wards, inpatient and outpatient sections, pharmacy, laboratories and students’ hostel to assess the facilities available here.


Speaking about their visit, Dr. Rajasekar informed to the Hindu by stating that, “We’ll compile our findings as soon as possible so that we can submit our findings by August 13. Based on the findings and the recommendations, appropriate and immediate action will be taken by the government to ensure the admission of 100 students this academic year."
