MP DME issues notice on Registration for State combined NEET PG Counseling

Bhopal: Through a recent notice, the Directorate of Medical Education Madhya Pradesh (DME MP) has informed about the registration process for state combined counselling for PG medical admissions 2020-21.

The notice clearly states:

This is for information to all the candidates that last date of registration for State counseling is being changed from 30-03-2020 to 28- 03-2020 (12.00 midnight) due to annual maintenance of M.P.online portal. Registration will re-open as and when the new schedule for M.P. state counseling is announced. Already registered candidates will not be required to register again.

However, the MCC has already postponed all the counselling process and has further directed all the states to halt the PG medical admissions procedure till further orders in view of the ongoing COVID 19 outbreak.

The MCC had clearly stated, "As you are aware that in view of ongoing COVID- 19 outbreak and in compliance with the advisory issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, the All India counseling has been postponed till further orders. As per the MCI Gazette and as per the Hon'ble Supreme Court directions the counseling runs in tandem with the State Counselling. Since the All India counseling has been postponed till further orders, it is advised to State Counselling authorities to postpone their State counseling as well so that the Hon'ble Supreme Court orders can be complied with and also the students and their parents are not exposed inadvertently to any Corona positive person."
