The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, Has Said That The Process For Setting Up 18 Medical Colleges Has Already Been Set In Motion And Four Such Colleges Will Soon Be Established In The State







Chandigarh: The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has said that the process for setting up 18 medical colleges has already been set in motion and four such colleges will soon be established in the state. These medical colleges will produce 2,000 doctors every year.



Addressing a gathering after inaugurating a new-bus stand in Karnal today, he said that Kalpana Chawla Medical College had been established in Karnal. The present government plans to open one medical college in every district to meet the shortage of doctors.


Doctors will soon be recruited in the Kalpana Chawla Medical College, he added.
