Rs 1,351 crore allotted for AIIMS at Kothipura: HP CM

Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government has proposed an annual plan of Rs 6,300 crore for the 2018-19 financial year, an increase of 10.51 percent from the fiscal, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said.


He made the announcement while presiding over the meeting of MLAs from Solan, Sirmaur and Shimla for eliciting priorities of roads, water supply, irrigation and other developmental works to be included in the state budget.



Thakur expressed gratitude to the Union government for sanctioning Rs 1,351 crore for setting up of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Kothipura in Bilaspur district.







He also thanked the Centre for the PGI satellite centre at Una, costing around Rs 450 crore.







The government is committed to socio-economic uplift of the people of the state and believes in Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, the chief minister said.
