Punjab: Dr Sohan Singh appointed new Principal, GMC Amritsar
Amritsar : Dr Sohan Singh has been appointed as the new Principal Government Medical College, Amritsar. He took over administrative reins of the college on Saturday. He replaces Dr. BS Bal, Former Principal of the college.
Dr Sohan Singh, the new Principal confirming the appointment said, “I will be joining the office tomorrow (Saturday) at 9.15 am. I am happy and hopeful about the tenure.” Dr Sohan Singh is one of the senior most faculty of the college.
The replacement of Dr Bal, came as an administrative action after the said doctor was caught doing private practice in a sting operation
