Puducherry fixes temporary PG fee for 3 Medical Colleges

Puducherry: A temporary fee has been fixed for post graduate medical and dental courses under government and management quotas for 2017-18 for three private medical colleges cum hospitals in Puducherry. This decision has been taken by the ‘Fee Committee’ constituted under the Madras High Court judge, Justice S Rajeswaran.


A sum of Rs. 5.5 lakh for postgraduate medical courses (clinical) and Rs 4.5 lakh for postgraduate medical courses (nonclinical) under government quota and Rs 14 lakh for postgraduate medical courses (clinical) and Rs 6 lakh for postgraduate medical courses (non-clinical) under management quota has been fixed as fee by the fee committee for three colleges in question reports TOI.


Following are the names of the Puducherry colleges for whom the temporary fee structures have been fixed:




  • Sri Venkateswaraa Medical College and Hospital.

  • Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences,

  • Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital
