The court in the following order further made it clear that the MBBS seats that have been made available for counselling based on the court decision are only provisional and subject to the final orders of the court

Confirmation to this effect is given by Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University through a recent notification. The notification reads;

The Madras High Court's directed to grant conditional recognition to the college after the chairperson of Sri Muthukumaran Educational Trust, Gomathi Ammal had filed a petition before Justice G Jayachandran, regarding its affiliation being withheld by the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, thereby hindering the MBBS college's inclusion in the seat matrix.

Examining the report submitted by the inspection committee, the university did not grant permission to the medical college and it was not included in the list of eligible MBBS college to admit candidates for the academic year 2019-20.
