NEET Exam: Mehbooba seeks exam centre for MDS aspirants too, writes to Nadda

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti sought the extension of NEET (PG)-2018 centres in respect of dental graduates taking the NEET (PG) examination.


In her communication to Union Health and Family Welfare Minister, JP Nadda, the Chief Minister said since already some exam centres have been established by the National Board of Examination for on her request, the same facility may be extended to the dental graduates of the State.


Ms Mufti has requested to the Union Health Minister for his intervention in the matter to allow the usage of these centres for dental graduates whose examination falls in the afternoon of the same day i.e, on Jan 7, 2018.


Pertinent to mention here that two centres at Baramulla and Srinagar were set up by the NBE in addition to the two already set up at Jammu and Samba on the intervention of the Chief Minister for the coming NEET (PG)-2018 examination in view of the large number of candidates from Kashmir Valley taking such an examination.
