Microscopic unit at Microbiology Dept of Goa Medical College inaugurated

Panaji: Goa Minister for Health Vishwajit Rane inaugurated Microscopic unit at Microbiology Department at the Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim, on Wednesday.

Addressing the gathering, Mr Rane expressed his happiness over the provision of Microscopic unit at Microbiology Department and said in order to provide adequate medical services and to make the hospital equipped with super special facilities, the government is making continuous efforts to provide required equipments in the hospital, objective behind which was that the patients should get the best treatment.

He urged doctors to go beyond routine duties and work towards combating life threatening diseases like cancer which was rapidly increasing in the state.
