MCI nod to Narayan Medical College to starts MD Microbiology course

The Medical Council of India(MCI) has permitted the Narayan Medical College and Hospital, Sasaram, Bihar, under Veer Kunwar Singh University, Bihar to started MD (Microbiology) course from the academic year 2017-18.


In the Compliance Verification Assessment Report (5th January 2017) along with the Council Assessor’s Report (16th September 2016) and compliance dated 13th December 2016 submitted by the college authorities on the physical and other teaching facilities available at Narayan Medical College & Hospital, Sasaram, Bihar under Veer Kunwar Singh University,Bihar for Starting of MD (Microbiology) course u/s 10A of the IMC Act, 1956 for the academic year 2017-18, the Postgraduate Medical Education Committee has considered the college application regarding the MD Microbiology Course.


As per the assessment report submitted by Narayan Medical College and Hospital, the Postgraduate Medical Education Committee decided to recommend to the Central Govt.to issue Letter of Permission for Starting of MD (Microbiology) course at Narayan Medical College & Hospital, Sasaram, Bihar under Veer Kunwar Singh University,Bihar u/s 10A of the IMC Act, 1956 for the academic year 2017-18restricting the number of admissions to 4(four)students per year, till the first batch admitted appears in the final examination of the said course.


The Teaching Institution be advised to apply for recognition of the qualification at the time of first available examination as per the provision of Section 11(2) of the IMC Act, 1956.
