The team visited the DR. YS Parmar Medical College, taking stock of records, infrastructural and teaching facilities available to decide its fate to start the first batch of MBBS at the newly designated medical college.

The team gave a thorough inspection to the records and facilities available at the hospital. The state government hospital has managed to show a staff strength of 240 people , including 44 doctors, nurses and para-medicals. The strength of students to be taken in for the first batch would be decided by the MCI based upon the faculty strength and facilities available. If given approval, it is assumed that the college will be granted an intake of 100 seats for the first batch.
