MBBS Counselling 2019: KEA releases notice on NRI seats conversion, Schedule, Seat Matrix for Mop Up round

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has published the DME letter of conversion of infilled NRI (N) seats to other (Q) seats, the seat matrix and schedule for mop round of NEET counselling 2019.

Candidates who are vying for admission to MBBS course at Karnataka based medical colleges are requested to view the concerned details of the KEA notices mentioned below:

With respect to the above subject, we request your good self to convert the unfilled / un-allotted / vacant NRI seats to Other seats during MOP-UP round of counselling and also the fee for converted NRI seats is the fee of Other seats in respective colleges.

KEA SCHEDULE


Candidates who are vying to appear for the mop-up round of MBBS and BDS counselling can update themselves with the schedule mop-up round counselling session as uploaded by the KEA on its official website.

NOTE: Candidates will be allowed to enter the premises only on producing
(a) Entry Pass, (b) Verification Slip (c) Demand Drafts (d) Original Documents

A. Schedule for (a) Jammu & Kashmir (b) Minority (Only for respective minority candidates) and (c) RC-2 to RC-8 category candidates applicable for St. John Medical College, Bangalore (d) NRI/OCI / PIO / NRI- Wards.
(Seat Allotment will be depending on the vacancy – counselling will be stopped once the seats are exhausted) Please check the availability of seats on the KEA Website.

Although, all religious minority candidates of all the states are considered, priority* will be
given to Karnataka domiciled religious minority candidates who have already verified their
documents and eligible to claim such minority seats.
Once the seat is allotted in the above round, candidate will not be allowed to participate in the following seat allotment schedule. Further, if any seat is not allotted then the candidate is

eligible to participate for seat allotment as per the following schedule as per their eligibility.
The NRI seats which may remain unfilled after NRI seat allotment, those seats will be de-categorised to
OTHERS (Q) category and offered to eligible candidates as per the schedule.

NOTE: Candidates are advised to confirm the availability of seats for mop-up round before coming to KEA.

NOTE:
• Candidates have to appear as per the schedule according to NEET - All India Rank.
• Candidates are allowed only 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Be attentive for the announcements at KEA premises.
• If the seat allotted in the mop-up round is cancelled, entire fee paid will be forfeited.
• Beware of touts and middlemen.
